Most Used Baby Items: Gift Guide

1 // DockATot  2 // Footed Sleeper 3 // Dragon 4 // Moccasins
9 // Snack Container 10 // Plane 11 // Bottom Wash 12 // Pound-A-Ball

1 // The DockATot is hands down our MOST USED BABY ITEM. If you've followed a long with me the past year and a half, you've heard me talk on several occasions about this must-have for new moms. If you're not familiar with the brand, this baby lounger pillow was created to give little ones comfort and security. Winston has slept in a DockATot Deluxe the day we brought him home. We were actually waking him up to feed him, he was sleeping so well. And we know, it's because of the DockATot we have such a great sleeper, still. More on my previous post about DockATot here. DM me if you have questions. The one thing I'll say to you, is it's worth every penny. Typically you'd use a Deluxe for newborns until 8 months and then move to a DockATot Grand from 9-36 months. I moved Winston over to the Grand right at 8 months. He sleeps in it and we also use it for playing with toys and reading time. This would be an amazing gift for a parent and their sweet baby.

2 // When Winston was about 5 months old, I walked into a baby boutique and discovered Peregrine Kidswear sleepers. I hadn't heard of the brand, but was in awe of the crazy soft material and in love with the patterns. I tried one and went back for more after I saw how soft they were on his skin and how well they washed. One of these soft sleepers would make a great holiday or baby shower gift. Winston is wearing the buffalo check pattern from the newly launched line, below. Oh, and Peregrine also offers blankets that are equally as soft as their sleepers. Winston carries his around everywhere.

3 // I spotted this is Dragon stuffed animal at Nordi's last month. It's just so cute and crazy soft. This has been ordered and wrapped!

4 // & 5 // Birdrock Baby Moccasins have become a family favorite. They are absolutely adorable and are easy for Winston to walk in. Made from genuine leather, they are both great quality and easy to wipe clean. Birdrock Baby also has Fringeless Moccasins (seen in the soccer pics below), which Winston wears almost every day. They are the same quality and cuteness, just without the fringe. Another favorite are the fleece and lightweight cotton booties from Birdrock Baby. Both are perfect for hanging around the house when I don't have him in a onesie that covers his feet. We have hardwood floors, so these keep his feet nice and cozy.

7 // This a great multi-use bottle. I wanted something that worked for water and thicker drinks like smoothies, and this one is perfect. Bite free, spill free.

9 // This adorable snack container goes everywhere with us. It's super easy to throw in the diaper bag or hook onto the stroller clips when we're out and about. This would be a nice shower or holiday gift paired with the cutlery.

11 // We use this bottom wash everyday. It gets rid of the smell and make cleaning those little bums so much easier. As the diapers get worse, I'm super grateful to have discovered this. I received as a shower gift. Definitely include this in a baby holiday gift back or shower gift. That mama will thank you!

13 // This is THE best transition cup I've found, by far. It's spill-free and has a bite-free silicone straw. I bought one to test it out and now we have four in constant rotation. This would be great stocking stuffer.

14 // We still don't have a highchair. We haven't needed it because this Table Chair is so convenient. When Winston was too tiny for restaurant high chairs we brought it with us everywhere. It's easy to attach, doesn't damage the counter and can be used up to 35lbs. Also a great gift idea.

I hope my gift guide helps you check off more people on your list and gives you a few ideas for showers and birthdays. Happy Holidays!

10 // My favorite facial brush is this one from Foreo. It takes off the makeup residue left behind and takes off all those dead skin cells. It is a dream! I'm teaming up with Foreo to give away a Here & There cleansing pair featuring the LUNA mini 2 and the LUNA play ($178 value). It's the perfect t-sonic cleansing pair. 11 // I received a large sample of this Kiehl's Multi-Corrective Cream at a blogger event and was blown away. I have super dry skin and this cream goes a long way, making your skin soft and glow. This is now the cream I apply after this serum each night.

13 // This is my holy grail night serum. I used to have troubled skin, and my friend introduced the IS Clinical Active Serum to me a few months before my wedding. I never looked back and don't ever skip an evening applying this to my skin.

Favorite Fall Pullover + Pumpkin Patch Family Fun

I think we started a new family tradition this past weekend. We brought Winston to the pumpkin patch. There were animals, games, bouncy mattresses, slides and of course, plenty of places to take pictures with pumpkins. It wound up being a little warmer than we expected, but it was fun to get dressed up for the  occasion and explore. More details on outfits below.

This mustard pullover comes in several other shades. Size down, it's pretty big. Expect and oversized look like this even if you get an xs. I've been wearing mine around the house a lot with joggers. It's so comfortable for lounging. I would say it's heavy enough to keep you warm outside if it's a little chilly, but also thin enough to layer.

It was a warm day so we didn't bundle Winston up too much. This white thermal is so cute and only $5. His pants come in a three pack and are under $10. I love the thick waistband. More on his look below.

Dad Bod T Shirt

I'll definitely be wearing this look all Fall and Winter long. What's your must-have wardrobe piece for cold weather?

Bahamas Outfit Roundup

We survived our first trip away from Winston. And by survived, I mean I only cried a few times. It was probably (definitely) harder on us than it was on him. We stayed at The Cove at Atlantis on Paradise Island and spent a couple days at Albany Resort on New Providence. It was amazing to spend five days relaxing in the sun, but even better to come home to our smiley boy.

Hooray for off season! A lot of my pieces from the trip are on sale. SCORE! Shop outfit details below.

These gauze cover-up pants deserve a shout out. They are super cute and so flattering. I probably wore these more than anything else on the trip. Make sure to size down because they run big. I'm 5'4 and an xs hit just an inch or two above the ground in the back. I wore them high-waisted.

Here are a few of my favorite products and outfit pieces I didn't photograph. If you have getaway planned, I would highly recommend them ALL. This was my first time using SuperGoop sunscreen and I absolutely loved it. I bought this 3-pack (which is such a good deal) and it lasted me the whole trip. I had heard so much about the COOLA setting spray with SPF, so I had to try it. I loved it so much, I will be taking it on future trips for sure. I like to put a light layer of make-up on before the beach (so I don't scare anyone, haha), and even through the crazy humidity and dips into the water, it kept my makeup looking like it did before I left the hotel room. Also, my face was sunburn free the entire trip. Same for my body with the SuperGoop. I brought too many suits, so I didn't get to wear this on floral off the shoulder swimsuit, but it fits really well, and the price is unbelievable. One of my favorite suits of the trip was this light blue plunging one piece. I really liked the color, print and how girly the front was but that the back was moderate to full coverage with straps that actually stay on (hard to find, am I right)? A matching bow scrunchie was a must, of course. Lastly, this beach cover-up unfortunately came in the mail after I flew out, but is absolutely gorgeous. I bought the red multi color. This cover up can double as both a sarong and a beach blanket. I can't wait to use it on the next trip and maybe grab a couple more colors.
