Today I'm sharing an outfit featuring my latest go-to booties. These faux suede ankle booties are a bright caramel color, which I really like because they go with so many things in my closet right now. They come in gray and black too. The slightly square toe and two-inch heel make them super comfortable (which is a must for me running around with an infant lately).

The shaft of the boot is fitted, with enough room to fit a pair of skinny jeans tucked in. I plan on wearing these with plenty of moto leggings and tights, too. Overall, I think these boots fit true to size. I normally wear a 7.5 in boots and ordered a 38 which fit perfectly. If you like to wear super thick winter socks with boots, I'd recommend going up a full size.

Winter weather has arrived, and each year I'm on a mission to find the perfect boots that work for casual and dressy outfits. I want to be able to shop, go to the office and go out to dinner without having to change my shoes every time :) Full transparency, no we don't get snow and rarely rain in Vegas, but it does get windy and down in the 20's and 30's overnight and into the morning. So we're cold!
My favorite thing about these black chunky boots is the unique angle heel. They make me feel like I'm wearing an expensive pair of designer boots. These are only $26 by the way. I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable they were. They have a pointed toe, which for us shorter ladies is always a plus in lengthening those legs. The top fabric is super stretchy and reaches about mid calf, or just below, and they're easy to get on and off in a hurry (pull-on without a zipper).

I plan on also wearing these boots under dress pants to the office and with a velvet midi skirt or sweater dress for date night. I'd say they fit true to size. I'm usually a 7.5 in boots and I ordered a 38.

As always, thanks for stopping by!

Last week I attended a Las Vegas blogger event at NARS in the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace, where the Man Ray Holiday Collection was being introduced. This was heaven getting to try the latest colors for eyes, lips and cheeks. There are so many beautiful choices if you're looking for last minute gifts or something small to go in those stockings.
The Veil Cheek Palette from the Man Ray Holiday Collection (above), is one of the many things I picked up at the event and it is EVERYTHING. The palette includes the awarding winning bronzer "Laguna," and limited edition shades of "Lovesick" blush and "Surreal" highlighter. The blush is a satin watermelon shade and the highlighter is a glamorous bronze rose color. This is a great palette to travel with too. The NARS Pro Artists recommended using these shade not just on cheeks, but on eyes too.

This Glass Tears Eyeshadow Palette is absolutely stunning. I have my eye on that emerald green.
All things neutral AND glam. This Wanted Eye Shadow palette would be a great gift.

This is NARS Senior Artist Julia Sohn, demonstrating an evening look with the new NARS Man Ray Holiday Collection.

PRO TIP: When using lip liner, always line slightly outside the natural lip line :)

The "Intensley" blush caught my eye, so I had to try that immediately. The true color is a beautiful bright tangerine. The picture above (right) shows it on me. I was thinking it would be a color for olive tones, but really worked well with a fair complexion. This is on my wishlist!

PRO TIP: Dab a touch of clear lip gloss on lids to make shimmery shadow pop, and give it a little more staying power.

If you purchase from the Man Ray collection, you'll receive this pretty gold and black gift wrapping to go a long with it. Keep in mind, the Man Ray Collection is limited edition, so if you see something you like, grab it. Most of the products can be found at NARScosmetics.com and NARS boutiques.

IN ADDITION TO THE HOLIDAY COLLECTION....
NARS recently introduced the Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation in 33 fantastic shades. This fade-resistant formula has 16-hour lasting power and literally looks better as you wear it. With this foundation, a little goes a long way. The NARS Artists encourage you to start with a very small pea-size amount, start in the center of your face and work your way outwards.
NARS Senior Artist, Julia Sohn showing me a few tricks. For all you black eyeliner gals, she recommends tightlining, a.k.a. lining your upper tear line, to make eyes appear more bright. Ever since she showed me this, I can't stop. It really does make a world of difference in making those eyes POP! She used the Larger Than Life Longwear Eyeliner on me because it won't smudge in that tear line. If you want to smudge your upper lid for a smoky eye, she recommends the Kholiner.

PRO TIP: If you are wearing RED lipstick, ALWAYS wear a lip liner (no if, ands..)

The Man Ray Collection has Love Triangle Blush/Lipstick sets for only $24.  These are a perfect last minute pick. Comes in two shades.

Some of my favorites from NARS (non holiday):

NARS Radiant Cream Concealer: This is the best concealer for under eyes and spots I've ever found. It's super creamy, hydrating, and smooth. What I really like is that it covers what you need it to, but still looks super natural with that radiant finish. I wear shade Monte Blanc :)
NARS Blush & Bronzer:
The blush color "orgasm" is a staple for women all across the world. It's just that perfect hue of peachy-pink shimmer that no other make-up brand has been able to duplicate (in my opinion). The Laguna bronzer is something I just got on board with recently. I received a sample in the mail with the rest of my NARS make-up order, and the rest was history. What makes this bronzer so great, is it gives you that healthy glow, without being too orange or yellow. There is a golden shimmer within the powder that lets you contour and enhance your skin that creates a smoother, more even-looking completion.

Thank you to the NARS staff at The Form Shops for being so helpful and knowledgeable about the products.

Today I'm sharing a few lace dress styles that can be worn for any occasion, and won't break the bank. All of these styles under $30 (yaaaas!).

The first dress is my favorite. This long sleeve dress has embroidery detail all over, a black ribbon cinch in the middle to make it that much more flattering and has a classy pussy bow tie at the top. This dress hits midi length but has a see through section to the knee, really making it so versatile. The blue is by far my favorite, but the black is super classy and blush as you know is everywhere right now. Check out all the colors at the link below.

I found all of these style at Rose gal, where you can find really great Christmas deals.

Below are a couple more super classy lace dresses to wear through the holiday season and keep around really for any occasion. The Christmas sales for 2017, are hard to pass up, especially with such pretty options. If you have a special occasion coming up, need something for NYE or maybe even a date night, check out the Christmas 2017 Rose gal sales that are still going strong.

The gift ideas just keep on coming!! Last week, I attended a blogger event at the Kendra Scott store inside the Fashion Show Mall, and now all I want to do is stuff everyone's stockings with jewels.

Kendra Scott isn't just a jewelry store, they also have a home collection and a completely interactive COLOR BAR, where you design your own jewelry why sipping on complimentary champagne and snacking on cute mini cupcakes.

At the COLOR BAR, you design your jewelry in three easy steps.

First, you choose your style. Choose from earrings, necklaces, bracelets and rings. Below are just a couple pages, but there are several pages of styles to select from.

Next, you choose your metal. Options include gold, rhodium, rose gold and gunmetal. Some items are available in antique silver.
After that, you choose your type of stone, and within minutes you can take home your custom jewelry. You can truly mix it, match it, and make it yours.

I selected the Elora earrings to make in gold with a platinum drusy stone. These babies are so sparkly, I didn't want to take them off before bed.
Here is the final pair I designed at the COLOR BAR by Kendra Scott. I'm in love.

I'm sure you can tell by these pictures, I'm a little obsessed with the platinum drusy stone on gold. I really liked seeing items in store you could pair together. It wasn't just statements pieces, you can make an entire collection for yourself.

Here are a few more favorites that caught my eye in the store. All of these can be customized at the COLOR BAR.

The COLOR BAR by Kendra Scott is complimentary. You can walk in anytime and get your holiday gifts designed and gift-wrapped in a beautiful yellow Kendra Scott bag. The COLOR BAR is also available for private parties. What a fun a stop for a girls night out or maybe a bridesmaids outing. Your group would arrive, enjoy complimentary sips and sweets and simply pay for the jewelry you design. I can't leave out the best part: everyone in the party gets 15% off their purchase.

I hope you're able to stop by a Kendra Scott store and try out the COLOR BAR for yourself. These jewels are sparkly and bright, perfect for the holiday season :)
