Lightweight Jumper

I'm in Hawaii!

Stopped for a quick hotel photo shoot in this golden hallway before heading out to the humidity on Waikiki Beach. 

We arrived in Oahu just in time for 3 hours of rain from tropical storm Darby. At least it wasn't a hurricane, right? And the good news is, the drenching only lasted 3 hours, so after that we were able to soak up enough sun to get nice and crispy, ouch! More like I got crispy, while my gorgeous husband (the redhead) got a bronzed body after 30 minutes. That lucky duck tans like he's a local.

Waikiki Beach is absolutely beautiful by the way. I'm talking post-card worthy sunsets, the most gorgeous palm trees and crystal blue waters as far as you can see. 

I will say, I've never experienced humidity quite like this. But, maybe I'm just a big baby. The humidity sure does make getting dressed that much tougher. I tried to stay cool in loose dresses and and lightweight jumpers.

Chambray Jumpsuit

The jumper/romper craze has been present for awhile, but this was my first leap at trying out the trend. And it turns out I absolutely adore this jumpsuit. It's so soft and best of all, flattering in all the right places. I'm short (5'4 actually) so I really like the flare legs that elongate me a bit (who wouldn't love that).
