Last week I attended the Spring fashion preview at the Neiman Marcus CUSP event. Expect busy, bright and beautiful trends this season! Of course, bright florals are a must. This floral Alice & Olivia leather jacket is incredible, but my absolute favorite was this yellow and blue Self-Portrait assymmetric cocktail dress. To. Die. For.

Stripes were also in full force. I adore this classic Frame long-sleeve button front silk blouse. This would be perfect for the office or with a ripped pair of white jeans on the weekend.
Another Alice & Olivia showstopper, was this sequin leather bomber jacket. I'm pretty sure every blogger in attendance tried this baby on. And it looked fantastic on everyone.
The food and drinks were almost too pretty to touch, but I'm glad I did. Thank you NM Cafe for providing us with the most gorgeous happy hour items.
Soft sunnies with light colored lenses and a retro vibe are expected to be big this season. I'm loving the light blue lenses.
You name it. You'll find it in rainbow colors!

Sparkle & Glitter Glam. This beaded Marc Jacobs crossbody bag is so unique, I couldn't stop staring :) I love the thick strap, too.

A professional make-up artist from Tom Ford introduced us to these super pigmented shadows that are new for Spring, and exclusive to Neiman Marcus. You can purchase these in store at select locations.

Don't forget about the guys....

Our sweet boy just turned 8 months old. I can't believe how fast time has just passed on by. He babbles like crazy, smiles non-stop, can sit up on his own for about 30 seconds, and that hair. That gorgeous hair just keeps on growing.
Winston has experienced the ongoing wrath of daycare, a.k.a. sick kids central since the week he started. And that "gift" just keeps on giving (no seriously, it's something new every week). Anyway, this was the first weekend (last weekend) that the weather and our newly healthy man were in sync, so we took in a some fresh air in the front yard and fit in a quick photo sesh.
Winston is sitting on one of the cutest rugs I've ever seen, the Puffy Dream Blue Rug from Lorena Canal Rugs. It's the softest rug we own and is super thick, which I love. I place this on the play mat in the living room a lot, and in his nursery to play sometimes. I also like to use it when I need something soft underneath him and am not in either of those rooms.
One of the best things about the brand (Lorena Canal Rugs), is that all of the rugs are machine washable! Can I get a hallelujah? If he spits up or provides me with one of his all-time famous blow outs, I'm prepared. This rug just goes straight into the washing machine.
Lorena Canal Rugs are also great for traveling. Mine folds up nicely, not taking up a ton of room. If we're headed to visit a friends house, or going to the park, I'll it along so he can play on something fun and soft, away from the germs. I also want to mention that the nursery rugs like these are thicker, so when he's rolling around, even if he's on the tile, I feel comfortable he's falling onto a surface he's not going to hurt himself on.
In addition to washable rugs, Lorena Canal Rugs offers washable pillows, wall decor, blankets and more. Shop the brand here.

As always, thanks for stopping by!

Happy half way to the weekend :) Today I'm sharing another mom's must, the Binxy Baby Shopping Cart Hammock. It is literally a hammock for your infant that allows you to store shopping items below the baby, nixing the need to have someone else pushing a stroller or having your car seat take up half your shopping space.
Binxy Baby fits most standard grocery store carts, even Target carts that seem to have a thicker railing. This is ideal for babies 6-8 months that aren't quite sitting up on their own yet. There is a secure seat harness similar to a car seat attached in addition to a safety belt, and double reinforcements on each end the hammock to ensure your baby is safe and secure (clips and a Velcro strap on each side). The fabric is double layered but still lightweight, so you're baby won't overheat.
The reason why I like this product, recommend it and continue to use it, is because it really does make my shopping experience a breeze. I just pop my son, Winston, out of his car seat and into the Binxy Baby, make sure he's secure, and we're off. It takes less than two minutes. Also, the there is a natural incline in the seat so you know your baby will be comfortable.

There has been a time or two where Winston had just fallen asleep and I didn't want to disturb him. In a case like this, you can set your car seat directly onto the hammock and fasten the safety belt. The Binxy Baby holds up to 50 pounds.
Warning: You may attract attention at the store while shopping. I've had a lot of people staring in awe of how cool this is and have had several people come up to me and ask what it was and where they could get one. I always hear a lot of, "So and so would love that."

Winston is pictured in the pattern Indigo Dream. The Binxy Baby is very compact. I keep mine rolled up in the back of my car, so it's always with me when I need it.

If you have questions any questions about my experience using Binxy Baby, please feel free to comment on this post (below) or email me.

As always, thanks for stopping by!

Happy Friday! Today, I'm sharing some casual outfit inspo featuring one of my favorite style of tops, the peplum. I have a little bit of a peplum obsession lately. Who can say no to a super flattering and girly top? Not me.

This army green frayed hem button up jacket with pockets from Zaful has the cutest peplum detail and can be worn as a shirt, or a jacket (since the fabric is a little heavier than shirt material). This top runs slightly small so I would size up. I'm wearing a medium and still had to leave the top button open so it wouldn't bow out.

I've been wearing this top to the office with black joggers or dress pants and with jeans on the weekends. Besides being only $15, I love that it can easily be dressed up or down.

Also, the boots I'm wearing are sold out but I found a couple similar options for you. I hope everyone has a great weekend.

As always, thanks for stopping by!

Pictured: Grand DockATot in Pristine White
There are so many baby products out there, and as a first-time mom, it was hard for me to decide what I actually needed for the arrival of my son, Winston. I'm so thankful I discovered the DockATot before the big day, so it was ready to use for his first night home from the hospital. Today, I'm sharing a review of our most-used baby item (besides diapers & wipes haha), the DockATot Deluxe and recently added to the family, the Grand DockATot. DockATot is advertised as a luxury and a necessity for any parent who wants their little one's earliest years to be nestled in a happy and healthy cocoon of comfiness, and that really is the truth. For this reason, and so many more, the DockATot is my number one baby must-have. Read my full reviews below.

DockATot Deluxe

Winston is 7 months in this picture. While he's growing fast, he does still fit in it.
We traveled to Washington D.C. with the DockATot Deluxe last weekend, and this is what he slept in.
Winston has used the DockATot Deluxe to sleep in from the day we brought him home. We use it as his sleeper, for him to lounge in and nap, and to play in. We even used this for a little bit of tummy time. Each DockATot is made out of soft, breathable, 100% cotton material. When I put him in, it truly is piece of mind, knowing he'll be in a comfy and safe spot. He sleeps 8-10 hours a night!

The DockATot Deluxe is super lightweight and portable. Our family has traveled several times since Winston was born, and the DockATot Deluxe is one item we never forget to bring. It truly is the perfect co-sleeper. During our travels, my husband and I will put the DockATot Deluxe in-between us on the bed and it works perfect.

Grand DockATot

DockATot was kind enough to gift us the Grand version to review one month ago. While the DockATot Deluxe is for babies 0-8 months and 5-22 pounds, Winston was ready to move up to the Grand about a little early. He's above average in height and weight and manages to wiggle his little buns down while he sleeps. So, 7 months was a perfect time for him to upgrade to the Grand DockATot, which is for ages 9-36 months and 22-40 pounds. We move it from his nursery to sleep in the evenings, downstairs for playtime and naps, and will be traveling with it next month. We also plan to use the DockATot Grand to transition him into a big boy bed (when it's time, of course - PLEASE STOP GROWING).

I have to mention that both DockATots are machine washable, and the covers are very easy to take on and off. Another feature that I love is the handle. You'll appreciate this when your hands are full and you only want to make one trip down the stairs (I promise).

If you or someone you know would like to purchase a DockATot Deluxe or Grand DockATot, click here for a discount code, where you'll receive $10 off your purchase. These make amazing gifts for a baby shower, and there are so many colors and patterns. There is definitely something for every mom.

As always, thank you for stopping by! If you have any questions about my experience with either DockATot, please leave me a comment below or feel free to email.

It's March, the month in Las Vegas when you have to layer to to fight that reoccurring wind. It's also the month that makes wearing lip gloss basically impossible (fun fact).

Today's outfit of the day is a super easy to put together ensemble, featuring this chic open front waistcoat from Zaful (comes in camel & black). It's a medium weight polyester material that doesn't wrinkle super easy, which is great. I have an infant, so I don't always have time to steam every outfit. Check out the Zaful Women's Day 2018 sale for discounts on this vest and similar items.

I paired the waistcoats with a flirty tank and this super soft long sleeve tee that I've posted abut before. It comes in a ton of colors and is super flattering.
