First Birthday | Winston Turns One

I can't believe it's been a year. Winston is the cutest, most smiley, happy baby. He turned one last Sunday and we had an amazing time celebrating with family and friends. A couple of our friends call him "Sir Winston," so it was only fitting that we plan a royal event with a crown theme. I'm sharing all of the details and a party pics.

I ordered a crown cookie cutter, and had special cookies made for the party. It was such an easy way to tie in the theme. 

The crowns were a hit with the kiddos. 

We snagged this table during a 4th of July sale and it came just in time for the party.

He wasn't quite sure what do when we set the cake in front of him. 

The balloons we used were white latex painted with liquid gold leaf.

He started slow, but loved the frosting.

This is right before he pushed the cake onto the grass.

I have these moccasins in several colors and they're the cutest. Super easy to slip on and great quality leather. He scrapes his on the ground all day in a walker and they just wipe clean. Winston is wearing "Latte."

It's Summer now, but I'm glad those bright stripes stuck around. Today, I wanted to share a new favorite with you. This sherbert stripe top has a super flattering front tie and back button detail. I've been wearing this casual with these rose gold birk dupes, but it would also look great with any blush heel, too. Also, since I purchased this shirt last week, I this style came out in a front button-down version, which I also love. Jeans are my go-tos. Super stretchy and super distressed. They look amazing with sky high heels and equally as good with a pair of sandals. Enjoy the rest of your week!

Blue & White Striped Top

The perfect casual shirt isn't always so easy to find. When I'm shopping, I'm always on the hunt for something comfy and flattering at the same time. This striped shirt checks both boxes and is super on trend with those Summer Stripes. Pair it with a some distressed denim and super comfortable slides, and you have a perfect casual weekend outfit. Also, this top would nice and festive for a 4th of July BBQ.

These jeans are super stretchy and my most cozy pair. The nude slides are from TopShop and sold out in most sizes but I'll link a similar neutral pair below.

Mustard Everything Please

Happy Saturday Everyone! It's a bright day! We closed on our new home, have the keys in hand, and are headed there to clean up a little dust before we start moving in next week. Today, I wanted to share this mustard lace-up dress for under $25. I can't get enough of the mustard color lately. This dress has a cute lace-up detail and can work for a casual BBQ with flip-flops, or be dressed up for date night with a pair of espadrille wedges. Slip on a cute kimono, if it gets chilly.

Happy Monday! It's no secret, stripes are everywhere for Spring! I recently picked up these high-rise wrap pants and they might be the most comfortable pants I own. I love the neutral color and that the fit is fun, but still work appropriate. These adjustable wrap front pants are true to size and are pull on with an elastic waistband. It's an oversized fit with a tapered ankle. The marble bar necklace is from Target. I couldn't find a direct link, but the brand is A New Day and comes in several color options.
